DART Chief of Staff will help select next Leadership APTA Class
Jeanetta Britt Davis, chief of staff to DART's president/executive director, and one of 25 transit industry professionals about to graduate from the American Public Transportation Association's "Leadership APTA" program, has been selected to participate in the Leadership APTA Task Force that will select the Leadership APTA Class of 2002.
Davis has over 15 years transit experience and as chief of staff for DART's president/executive director is responsible for day-to-day executive-level functions of 14 departments that range from light rail planning to bus/rail operations.
"Leadership APTA has allowed me the opportunity to interrelate with transit professionals with similar aspirations and goals who value quality service delivery and customer service," Jeanetta says.
Since her selection, Jeanetta has attended major national conferences that include the Legislative Conference, the Commuter Rail Conference and Leadership APTA Conference.
Participants of the Leadership APTA Class of 2001 will graduate at the APTA Leadership Luncheon during the APTA Annual Meeting, this October in Philadelphia.-- 30 --
