Housed on an 84-acre campus, Dallas VA Medical Center is part of the Department of Veteran's Affairs North Texas Health Care System. Dallas VAMC includes an acute care medical center; primary care and multi-specialty outpatient clinics; a Transitional Care Unit; a comprehensive Spinal Cord Injury Center; and a Psychiatric Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program. The facility is served by its own namesake rail station.
